Two large size very detailed 19th century brass buttons.
This pair of heads facing each other appear to depict King Arthur and Guinevere and were created in beautiful detail. The heads are pinshanked brass on a black tinted brass ornate bordered background. Finding the matching pair is not as easy as one may think. These are truly exquisite.
Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4". Large=1 1/4" and above, extra large=1 3/4" and above
