Two Small/Medium size 19th century brass buttons with Skating as the theme.
Although the extra large size example also found later in this auction is the typical sought after size of this desired button the medium and small examples are actually rarer examples to find. I still call this button "Skating in Central Park" even though a new name has been assigned to this romanticized button.
Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4". Large=1 1/4" and above, extra large=1 3/4" and above
