Four small Strass crystal set in silver buttons from the 1700's.
The three top examples have one large strass crystal center and the bottom example a large center strass paste with a border of 8 smaller pastes. All examples set in silver. Strass was named for Frederick Strasser who invented this very fine quality paste jewel in the 18th century.
Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4". Large=1 1/4" and above, extra large=1 3/4" and above
