Exquisite watercolor painting of a Parisian village. Limited edition 133 of 350. Signed lower right.
Depicts village houses and community architecture, and an old Parisian bridge. The Parisian light, color and architecture is depicted greatly in this composition. Housed in gilt frame. Pierre Eugene Cambier (1914-200) was a French artist who has worked in the demanding technique of watercolor. He brilliantly captured French cityscapes, waterways, and countryside. Cambier continued to work and paint in Paris, where he also taught drawing and illustration to budding artists, until his death in 2000.
