He studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design and the Avni Institute of Art and Design. Tarkay gained recognition as a leading member of a new generation of figurative artists. In addition to his work in acrylic and watercolor, Tarkay was a skilled graphic artist. In 1986 and 1987, he was invited to participate in the International Art Expo in New York, where he showed works in oil, acrylic, and watercolor. #art #painting
