43"L, 6mm Akoya pearls; 14k gold clasp inset with 1 pearl.
Knotted strand. Luster is excellent. Color is white with soft rose overtones. Matching is excellent. The matching mini brooch/accent pin is 4 4mm Akoya pearls and 14k gold wire. The set resides in an embroidered gold and white satin necklace valise, branded Mikimoto, Ginza Japan as well. Included in the box are vintage sales and stringing reports from 1984, and several mid-80's vintage Mikimoto brochures and ad pieces, in the native Japanese. Reticulated, scrolled gold clasp is in excellent shape, along with the very lustrous pearls from the acclaimed Japanese jeweler.
