Rare Royal Doulton footed covered dish with fiery, deep, vibrant colors. An underglaze modern design of continuous peacock feathers gracefully adorns the top of the cover which is modeled with a pedestal for a majestic peacock stands in contrasting splashes of light and dark turquoise highlighted in red to accent the feathers. Bottom base marked Sung, Royal Doulton Flambe backstamp and Exhibition label.
