Extremely rare and important work by famous Faberge master Sazilov. Silver box with a hinged lock modeled in a shape of closed book. Emamel ornaments along the border and a bouquet of flowers in the center. Gold wash inside. Bears six marks on one side and three on the other, to include 'Sazikov' in cyrillic, Imperial warrant, star 91 and star 916 and MIP.9.
