An unusual historic ceramic figurine that was designed as an inkwell by Royal Doulton artist Leslie Harradine c. 1909. It was produced for the campaign against granting women the voting franchise in the United Kingdom. The woman�s head tilts back and serves as the top of the inkwell. Her glazed apron is impressed VOTES FOR WOMEN. Impressed maker�s marks to the base.
