Original black and white Paris photo; Mercury Riding Pegasus protected by timber and sandbags.
An early 18th century carrara marble monument sculpted by Antoine Coysevox (French 1640-1720) stood at the entrance of Tuileries Gardens until 1986. The original marvelous piece can be found in the Louvre Museum. A copy currently stands in its former place at the gardens entrance.
