This issue of Flying Saucer Review�is extra-special in that it comes from the personal collection of Apollo 14 Astronaut Edgar D. Mitchell. Mitchell became a vocal advocate for the scientific study of consciousness and paranormal phenomena after experiencing space travel and walking on the moon. In his post-NASA years, Mitchell advocated for the extraterrestrial hypothesis when it came to the subject of UFOs and asserted that the portions of the government were involved with reverse engineering exotic material recovered from UFO crash sites.
