Wheel-thrown clay vase with impressed scale like texture pattern applied to exterior. Piece has white glaze applied to interior and a brick red glaze exterior with black tones. L'atelier Dieulefit inscribed to base, which is the city in which the artist's studio was located. Jacques Pouchain is an institutionally recognized painter, sculptor, and ceramicist and has been featured in many major art museums including the Museum of Modern Art of Paris.
