First cast proof acrylic on paper of "Felix The Cat" ice skating with Skiddoo the mouse towing on its tail. Lew used a Neo-Pop style with ultra bright colors of orange and sky blue that contrast with the black coat of Felix. She paints directly on cast paper to create artworks editions that converge painting and relief sculpture. The results are outrageously fun while addressing artistic reproduction and consumerism, serious issues that were prevalent amongst Pop artists of 1960s America.
