This custom frame print on board is based on the Saturday Evening Post cover for April 11, 1942 "Willie Gillies: Hometown News" (Willie Gillis on KP). It depicts the American soldier engrossed in a newspaper from his hometown. This print is based on the fourth painting of a series that Norman Rockwell made between 1941 and 1946 for the Saturday Evening Post.
