Beautiful embossed serigraph on off-white paper entitled Diva II from the Diva Suite by Art Deco artist Erte. It depicts a dark skinned woman who looks seductively at the audience. She wears a beige and silver embossed sequin dress and headdress. One arm is covered by a sleeve formed from a peacock with feathers made of silver and gold foil stamping in wave-like patterns. Pencil signature on lower right: Erte. Numbered on lower left: 37/300. Housed in a gold toned frame with an elaborate matting of cream, black and a gold border. Sight size: 25.50"L x 33"H.
