Lamouroux has represented a table set on a patio partially shaded with grape vines that fall on a veranda where a table covered with a striped cloth reflets the bright Summer day. Flowers, fruits and vegetables, and a water pitcher fill the center that blends with sun scorched pine trees before the Mediterranean sea that is painted with multiple shades of blue. Through his spontaneous application of thick brushstrokes, Lamouroux has been able to convey the diffused sunlight that permeates all areas of this stunning composition.
