Signed and dated J SCHRAMM PAINTED 1834, for Johann Heinrich Schramm (1810-1865), Austrian portrait artist whose subjects included Prince Wilhelm Friedrich Karl of the Netherlands, and Cosima Wagner, daughter of composer Franz Liszt and wife of composer Richard Wagner. Presented in wooden frames with carved floral decorations and gilt. Frame size: 7.5"W x 8.5"H x 1.25"D. Sight size: 3.75"W x 5"H.
