A very fine antique silver George III soup tureen. This lovely regency period tureen has bold gadroon border with perfectly casted feet and handles. The feet are formed as lion's paws leading to leaves and scroll, further foliage lid. Body is chased with a stag and banner that reads: Tenuimus. Hallmarked silversmiths marks, 1818. Weight: 4,500 grams.
