Description
Unique and early pocket tool, knife, pliers, by the valve and pipe maker. Made during the Trouvay and Cauvin Company's heyday, this tool- likely a piece of advertising ware for its larger clients- is exquisitely and durably constructed, particularly by today's standard, long before the days of pocket multi-tools being a common sight. A 3" long spade point blade folds out, along with a combination corn-knife, bottle opener, wire gauge, scale, flat head screwdriver, and a long spiral awl screw that could plug tire leaks or open corked bottles. A sprung combination plier and wire cutter latches closed when not in use. Piece finished in white.
