1 Large 20th century engraved pearl by D. Schefferly.
Here is a beautifully executed engraved and pigmented pearl depicting a Dutch windmill scene. The shape of the button is a diamond shape. Diane Schefferly of Michigan used to make these wonderful examples utilizing the early techniques, in fact Dina Epstein once commented to her that she could not tell the difference between Diane's coaching pearls unless she looked at the backs of them.
