Salt glazed stoneware mug incised with a central band depicting dogs running in the midst; adorned with a sterling silver mounted rim. Sterling silver rim was made by Atkin Brothers co. Sheffield c. 1871. Hallmarked origin, standard, date, duty, and makers marks. Incised artist initials. Doulton Lambeth impressed backstamp.
