Highly detailed etching derived from the book titled De Ontleedkundige Plaaten van B.Eustachius. Demonstrates six views of the anatomy of the human head and neck. Notes written on left side are handwritten in a flowing brown ink fountain pen script identifying the different parts of the head and neck. Plates based off the artist Bartolomeo Eustachi (Italian, 1500-1577), who was one of the founders of the science of human anatomy. Mounted to matte board measuring 16"W x 20"H. Actual print measures 10"W x 14"H.
