Description
A White Model Prototype, 1957, in Bisque Porcelain, featuring the Yellow-Throated Warbler that was hand created, hand crafted by Ed Boehm and his Artists at the Boehm Studio in Trenton, NJ. USA. Featuring one of the earliest Bird Studies that Ed Boehm introduced in 1957 and was discontinued in June, 1975. This Bird Sculpture is the Yellow-Throated Warbler on Crimson-Eye Mallow. The White Bisque Prototype was the Model for the regular edition. This White Bisque Model was the prototype for the Yellow-Throated Warbler. Mr. Boehm made 6 all total in bisque, undecorated. This Model being offered is the only unique special prototype for the Yellow-Throated Warbler completed edition of the Bird Sculpture. This was the third unlimited edition adult bird introduced in 1975, and it was assigned the Boehm Studiomark Number 431. It shows a male, in song, perched on a Crimson-Eye Mallow on a formal pedestal base. 10"H. The RPC number assigned was RPC-1028-01. Authentic Backstamp RPC number, 9-1028-01-0380, on the underside, also signed Boehm in script, with USA written in Script under the Signature, this signed by Mr. Edward Marshall Boehm himself, and in block print, the words Original Model on the outer side of the bell jar base, underside.
