A finely crafted K-Line by Lionel die-cast model of the iconic New York Central (NYC). This detailed O-scale model replicates the legendary Hudson locomotive, known for its performance and elegant design that epitomized the golden age of American steam railroading. The model features advanced detailing and functionality, including Lionel TrainMaster Command Control, Lionel RailSounds for authentic audio effects, synchronized puffing smoke, and a constant voltage headlight. Additional highlights include an electrocoupler on the rear of the tender, opening roof hatches, and an extra coupler for double-heading. The New York Central Hudson locomotives were introduced in the late 1920s and quickly became iconic for their power and efficiency. Engine #5343 was one of the last J1e Hudson locomotives produced, notable for its streamlined design and exceptional speed, often pulling the famous 20th Century Limited.
