Description
A finely crafted late 19th-Century to early 20th-Century Gothic Revival altar table, distinguished by its striking architectural design and masterful woodwork. Constructed from richly patinated hardwood, the table features a substantial rectangular top with an intricately carved frieze, resting upon a bold trestle base. The standout design element is the series of arched tracery panels, supported by turned and foliate-carved balusters, evoking the grand interiors of medieval cathedrals.

Each end of the table is adorned with an oval heraldic medallion, featuring a carved shield with diagonal bands and a raised coronet, suggesting noble or ecclesiastical provenance. The side panels are gracefully curved, culminating in robust scrolled feet that provide both visual weight and structural stability.
