A remarkable First Day Cover featuring The Grand Piano from the Americana Series, postmarked July 13, 1978, in Interlochen, MI. This collectible envelope is adorned with two 8.4-cent grand piano stamps and bears the printed description of the instrument. It is hand-signed by legendary composer Henry Mancini (1924�1994) and renowned animator Friz Freleng (1906�1995), both icons in their respective fields. Mancini, best known for composing The Pink Panther theme, won four Academy Awards and twenty Grammy Awards, while Freleng was a key figure behind Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies.
