Description
1 Large oval 21st century hand painted porcelain pictorial button. This hand painted example of a Circus tamer was designed and made by Linda Ellison was made in memory (as stated on the reverse) of the Late Freddie Speights, the NBS editor for over 20 years. Freddie was a mentor to many and his Wife Jean was a past president of NBS, Chairman of the Classification and a myriad of other jobs including NBS editor for 4 years after Freddie's passing. This oval porcelain commemorates Freddie's time as editor and is nicely executed by the artist. This is not a button that is easy to estimate as its a special one indeed.
