Description
1 Large mid 20th century pottery button with a verbal. I normally do not consider studio buttons to be rare, I may consider them wonderful works of art at times but I do not consider them rare. In this case I differ from that because there were a very few of these buttons made and I know because I have my grandmothers example in my collection. This very nicely made pottery buttons was made for the Just Buttons fair in 1946 and signed on the back S. Townsend. I find it a great piece of button history and its an acorn design with a verbal to boot.
