1 Medium early 20th century silvered brass Ant & Grasshopper. Here is one of my favorite fables as I think the fable and the depiction are so wonderful. This silvered brass high relief example shows the Ant and the Grasshopper in great detail along with the Fiddle in the background. For those not familiar, the two holes on the back is because its a two piece button and when made the holes were there to let the heat out of the center when fusing the two pieces together.
