Incised glazed white ceramic with stylized Cyrillic letters.
Decorated with vegetable handles and a central design of a Borscht recipe decorated in stylized Russian Cyrillic letters, in black, brown, gray, tan, and other naturalistic colors. American artist David Regan (b. 1964), whose work has appeared at exhibitions in The Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; and elsewhere. This wok was included in David Regan's One Man Show at Garth Clark Gallery in July, 1991. A copy of the invoice is included with the work.
