This is an extremely rare aquatint etching in the H.C. edition of LE DANS DE LA HORS, hand signed by Spanish painter, sculptor, and ceramicist Joan Miro (1893-1983), from his modern figurative renderings. Vibrant, bold primary colors with strong black accents that embrace the composition, its central black figure having both humanoid and abstract qualities. The HC, or Hors Commerce, edition was given as a gift to the artist for allowing the publisher to print his images; it was originally in the possession of Miro. Certificate of Authenticity and Certificate of Appraisal. Presented in a decorative matte with a black frame. Art 7.5"H x 6"W.
